Launched in April 2003, the company was created to provide opportunities for African American women to network. Through conferences, seminars held on-line and in states across the country, spa retreats and in partnership with other organizations, Sisters at the Well provides the forum for women to link arms and aims to ensure our collective success.

Friends of Sisters at the Well, Inc. is host to the annual We See You Awards, honoring women who's collective work spans over 100 years of public service.  The We See You Awards will be held October 17, 2010 at a venue to be announced. See upcoming events page for details.
